Uniserve EGDC (Express Global Distribution Centre) was established in 2013 to facilitate our group’s natural organic growth and directly support our retail customers to grow and expand internationally.
Uniserve, the UK’s leading Logistics and Global Trade Management provider, has been established since 1984 and currently continues to trade as the largest privately owned freight and logistics company in the UK, with the original owner and founder still being as hands-on as when he started the company. The group has evolved and now operates a very broad a diverse business which includes: International Logistics, Global Supply Chain Management, Domestic Warehousing & Transport, Consultancy, Property, Customs Consultancy, Education through the Supply Chain Academy and more.
Uniserve EGDC is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Uniserve Group. Our business in Singapore operates as a warehousing hub and logistics operation for our retail customers serving global markets. Key markets include: Australasia, Europe, SE Asia and the Middle East. The business originally started out serving B2B customers, but over the years has also started servicing B2C customers too. Key activities include pick & pack and value-added services such as re-ticketing, QC checking and remedial reworking.
Uniserve EGDC’s location in Singapore was chosen as it is ideally suited to service China, SE Asia, Australasia, The Middle East and the Indian Sub Continent, combine this with the ease of doing business, skilled labour pool and links to International shipping routes and it is easy to see how Uniserve EGDC can bring benefit to any international supply chain in the region and globally.
